Websites The Royal Society is the longest running scientific institution in the world. The Royal Society hosts a number of interesting events throughout the year. The Royal Institution hosts weekly Friday night lectures in the famous Faraday Lecture theatre which always fascinating. The website also has an archive of lectures which are well worth visiting. There is a series of free science lectures for 6th formers every Friday 6.30pm at UCL. You don’t need to book, just get there early to get a seat! If you are keen but require adult supervision, ask a teacher if they are willing to accompany a group. Here’s the autumn programme: An impressive collection of simple and clearly explained video tutorials about a range of physics topics (as well as maths, chemistry and more). Keep up to date with all the latest scientific research and breakthroughs.
