Career and Educational talks

"From September 2018 through to April 2019, the Careers

Department has organised a programme of talks for students called: 

CasE (Careers and supportive Educational) Talks".

On 10th September, the students will have a talk from Helen Gillett, the Managing Director for Affinity Water. Students will have a talk from Charlotte Lathbury on 24th September, who is a manager at an award winning hair salon in Harrow and on 1st October, James Torey, Managing Editor will give a talk on Journalism.

The Careers/HE Fair is on the 11th October, between 8:30am - 3:15pm.  So far 30 universities/colleges have already confirmed their attendance, including King's College London, University of Southampton, Imperial College London, SOAS, The University of Oxford, University of Newcastle, Brunel University, Royal Holloway University, The University of Surrey, Middlesex University, Cardiff University and the University of Hertfordshire to name a few.  In addition, we also have another 30 employers and apprenticeship providers who have confirmed their attendance: Siemens, CITB, The Bank of England, QA Apprenticeships, Cisco Computing, Big Creation Education, CGI, Ernest & Young, Civil Service, CBRE, VSO, London Fire Brigade, Transport for London, BT and the Institute of Biomedical Science, to name a few.

In addition, from September there will be Apprenticeship Lunches, whereby once a month (between September 2018 through to April 2019) a different apprenticeship provider will be invited into school during the lunch break (12:50pm to 1:20pm) for about 30 minutes to talk to students about the apprenticeship opportunities they have available.
