A very warm welcome to all families in this academic year and in particular to our new Year 7 and Year 12 families. We were delighted to see Year 7 showing their families around the school on information evening. Year 7 tutors valued meeting with you all. We are already very impressed with our new students who have settled in extremely well.

It was great to see so many families at Achievement Evening. Our key note speaker, Cressida Dick, Chief Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, gave a fantastic speech and made this a particularly memorable evening. As always celebrating the many student achievements is a very enjoyable event. We appreciate you supporting your daughters so well and know that the partnership between home and school is part of the key to success for students.

We have the highest expectations for academic learning we equally value having fun and learning together beyond the classroom. You will see from the articles in the newsletter of the many activities that have been going on this half term. There have been numerous visitors to the school from a range of institutions. Our 6th Form students continue to be well prepared for choosing universities. The recent Careers Fair was very successful. Mr Roach our careers adviser organised for many universities and companies to attend. All students visited the fair. The feedback was extremely positive from students and we intend to continue this in future years.
