In this Newsletter you will read about the many different enrichment activities that the girls have been doing.  We believe that through the wide range of experience the girls develop character and important qualities to equip them as young confident citizens.

The school production Annie was a huge success in January.  It was great to see so many girls involved both on stage and backstage. Each one of them performed so well and showed their talents individually and as a team. We thank all staff involved with the production for their extensive time and great commitment.

I was privileged to judge at the Year 9 First Give charity competition. Fifty girls were involved in the event. Each team gave fantastic performances. And showed their great presentation skills.  The girls learnt about different charities and developed their ability to perform in front of a large audience.

As part of our Arts curriculum we organise visits to museums. Year 9 spent a day at the Victoria and Albert Museum and were able to study different art forms. Year 8 are gong to the Troy Exhibition at the British Museum.  This builds upon their learning in The Odyssey during the Autumn term.

Our Sixth Form have been involved in many enrichment experiences. Once again they have bumped into famous people this time, Theresa May.  A level Government and Politics students were delighted that they met the former Prime Minister.
