Appreciative audiences of year 8s and 9s were treated to uplifting, mesmeric performances by two charismatic
poets, Adisa and Valerie Bloom. Both poets clearly demonstrated that poetry can be relevant, accessible and
fun and audience participation was warmly encouraged.
Performances were followed by a series of imaginative workshops where our poet’s energy and enthusiasm encouraged everyone to discover their creative side and reveal the poet within.
