Anti-Bullying Week November 2009

Anti-Bullying Week

Anti-Bullying Week is held in November each year, Anti-Bullying Week is run
by the ABA, with funding support from the DCSF. This year's Anti-Bullying
Week campaign is ‘Stay safe in Cyberspace’. The focus will be on
cyberbullying - the use of ICT, particularly mobile phones and the internet, to
deliberately upset someone else. Research has found that more than a third of
12–15-year-olds have faced some form of cyberbullying.
During the week there will be assemblies on anti-bullying and the message on
Staying safe in Cyberspace will be re-inforced during ICT lessons.
