Dear Bentley Wood Community,
I hope this newsletter finds you well and that you enjoy catching up on all the exciting events at Bentley Wood this term.
We have ended the term with a fantastic Cultural Week. We had the pleasure of experiencing Italian and German opera, performed by Ms Pintaudi and accompanied on piano by Ms Kuzuma. The stories behind each piece were shared, and for many of us, it was our first time experiencing opera. The students’ cultural performances during lunchtime were also extremely popular.
Our Year 7 and 8 students impressed us with their creative costumes on World Book Day, and I had the pleasure of joining them in the library for a wonderful celebration hosted by Ms Khan.
The school grounds are looking beautiful as spring arrives with daffodils and tulips planted by the gardening club and staff, now coming into bloom.
Students in Years 11, 12, and 13 have recently completed a set of exams and are busy collecting feedback from their teachers as external exams approach. A reminder to check the revision timetable and to ensure that when on site, students sign in and out and follow all school procedures.
I wish you all a relaxing Easter holiday and look forward to welcoming you back soon.
Kind regards, Naseema Akbar
