Dear Bentley Wood Community,
I hope this newsletter finds you well as we come to the end of our first half term. As always, this edition beautifully demonstrates our shared commitment to achievement, resilience and personal development. We are very proud to see that our new Year 7 and Year 12 students have settled in brilliantly, embracing our core CARE values and our strong ethos of “learning today, leading tomorrow.”
During the staff development day, our teams spent time reflecting on what it means to have a true sense of belonging at Bentley Wood High School, ensuring everyone feels safe, valued, and connected to our school community. I feel this newsletter illustrates that sense of belonging incredibly well, showcasing the positive contributions that our staff, students and families make every day to help ensure that we remain a strong, cohesive community.
Thank you for your continued support. Have a wonderful, restful half-term break, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday 3rd November.
Kind regards,
Naseema Akbar Headteacher
